The need for a balance
There must be a balance between the needs of patients and patient demand. Patients may need more of the drug to manage pain with the passage of time, but not addictive. Need to monitor the patient's condition and medical decision-making needs to be based on this information.
But if the patient is to see several doctors, do not know each other, and receive prescriptions cause excessive, the arbiter of this situation, is to be a local prosecutor.
A national database to help
A national database of prescriptions will be introduced for the first time a tool in the implementation of more stringent regulations on the distribution of licit drugs. You can argue the right to privacy of medical records, but I wish to point out that, when a patient to seek additional prescriptions, which have a direct conflict with the accepted medical practice, the use of drugs other than the purpose or in any way participate in the in a party immoral or illegal behavior (ie pharmacists), which aroused more public response.
Regardless of the circumstances, they become addicted, the patient is not able to make an ethical or moral decision. In the vast majority of cases, doctors are human beings, should have the right to speak, what is a prescription only, but has been complete and reliable information, not just text patients.
These few physicians breach of trust we place in them, the line has to be worth the practice and medical community need to address this issue. Otherwise, we will be practising lawyers.
Pharmaceutical companies must be involved in solution
Drug abuse is abundant in our country. If there is nothing, only to television advertisements. Pharmaceutical companies do great against the good development of Chinese medicine, many diseases. This is worthy of respect, but when the fight for the good of mankind become more commercial than scientific, ethical and moral issues, pollution caused.
